PowerShell is everywhere! I repeat PowerShell is everywhere and it is not just for IT Professionals. In the past few years Microsoft has orchestrated a paradigm shift away from using the GUI to do everything to using PowerShell to do everything. PowerShell is a task automation and configuration management framework from Microsoft, consisting of a command-line shell and associated scripting language built on the .NET Framework.
Now, as a developer, it is easy to automate tasks that you used to have to perform using the GUI.
